Welcome to FaceMark. Your privacy and data security are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy explains how FaceMark (the "Application") collects, handles, and secures information on your mobile device. FaceMark is developed and powered by ExcelGeomatics.

3. Collection of Facial Biometrics

To mark attendance, the Application uses on-device camera feeds to detect faces and extract mathematical vectors (face embeddings) using localized ONNX neural networks.

• Local Storage Only: Facial embeddings are stored locally inside the app's sandboxed SQLite database.
• No Image Uploads: The actual photographs used for face enrollment are processed on-device and are never uploaded or transmitted to the cloud.
• No Sharing: Facial biometrics are never shared, sold, or exposed to third parties.

4. Security Measures

We employ standard secure methodologies to protect stored data on the device:

• Encrypted Credentials: Login passwords are hashed using SHA-256 before database insertion.
• Hardware Keystore: Premium licensing activation flags and validation keys are stored inside the hardware-backed native OS Secure Storage (Keychain/Keystore).
• Obfuscated Binary: The Application binary is Ahead-of-Time (AOT) compiled to native machine code to prevent decompilation and tampering.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Since the Application is completely offline, all data retention is controlled entirely by the device administrator. If the Application is uninstalled, all local databases, staff lists, face templates, and logs are permanently deleted from the device memory.

6. Third-Party Analytics and Ads

FaceMark contains no third-party SDKs, tracking pixels, analytics engines, or advertising libraries. We do not track your usage habits, device metrics, or locations.
